I did my cancer treatment in Zion and was excited when I heard of the new ball field. This will not only bring revenue in to the community of Zion but it will help with the healing of the patients by giving them somewhere to go for entertainment after treatment. A hell of a lot better than just sitting or lying down thinking about what they are going through. I am from Zion and left that place as fast as possible. This field is just south of the city landfill and the smells on a hot summer day whenever the wind comes from the north are going to be a real crowd pleaser. It is also next to the run down Lorelei Acres subdivision and the ghetto Waterford Place apartments.
