I hope you are able to add 10 pounds of muscle and keep working on your shot. Having a consistent mid range jump shot and a couple go to moves in the post will make you a monster.
I'd like to see you fulfill your athletic potential but it requires hard work and dedication in the offseason.

Re: Tell ‘Em Tyrus: ‘I’m The Starting Power Forward’

Hey TTyme,

You need to get stronger like Horce Grant did. Think Amare, and try to get the body. You have the potential to be the best PF in the league. Are you always going to be less than Aldridge? Hell No! Make Chi Town proud. Stop with this nonsense SF talk. You just need some mucle and more consistency.

Re: Tell ‘Em Tyrus: ‘I’m The Starting Power Forward’

FOLLOW THRU!!!! It's a question of effort. You might actually be the most athletic power forward in the league, and even have one of the best ball handling abilities at that position as well.

Why not utilize them more? Take it to the hole, put the defense on their heals and force your way to getting buckets and free throws. The 17-foot jumpshot is a fine weapon if you can knock it down, and you've shown great improvement in it. But let's face it. You're way better off limiting those shots and going inside via face-up attacks from the wing, or just staying around the hoop when someone like Derrick and John penetrates.

I don't think you're arrogant nor crazy. But I do think you tend to overlook the actual aspects of what exactly is going on around you on the court. Mind your surroundings, stay close to the basket and focus on protecting the basket on the other end. Then, and only then, will you also be worthy of that starting power forward spot.

Morten S. Keep working hard and don't listen to critics, they'll be on / off your back depending on the weather! Hopefully the team is all back with improvements and we can build from last year. Seemed like everyone started to gel towards the end of the season.

Bring a championship back to Chi Town!

Re: Tell ‘Em Tyrus: ‘I’m The Starting Power Forward’

Yeah Tyrus! all the fans are pulling for you!!!
